RESOLUTION NO. 1999-757 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH R&N INVESTMENTS TO SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1 . 00, PLUS COSTS, PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF T.G. DRIVE AND NORTHEAST DRIVE TO BUILD A 36, 000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING AND ONE 30, 000 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING, AS NOVEMBER 15, 1999, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 15th day of November, 1999, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed development agreement with R&N Investments to sell and convey for $1 . 00, plus costs, property generally located at the southwest corner of the intersection of T.G. Drive and Northeast Drive to build a 36, 000 square foot building and one 30, 000 square foot building, with construction value estimated at $1, 600, 000 . 00, minimum assessment of $1, 500, 000 . 00 until December 31, 2010, together with tax rebates for five years, and legally described as follows : That part of Lots 7 and 8, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 1, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows : Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 7; thence N 00°25' 20" W a distance of 165. 00 feet; thence N 89°34' 40" E a distance of 600 . 00 feet; thence Southeasterly along a curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 50 . 00 feet and a long chord bearing S 45°25' 20" E a distance of 78 . 54 feet to the Easterly line of said Lot 8; thence S 00°25' 20" E along the Easterly line of said Lot 8 a distance of 65. 00 feet; thence Southwesterly along a curve concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 50 . 00 feet and a long chord bearing S 44°34' 40" W a distance of 78 . 54 feet; thence S 89°34' 40" W along the Southerly line of Lots 7 and 8 a distance of 600. 00 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. The Easterly line of said Lot 8 is assumed to bear S 00°25' 20" E; and, also; Tract A, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 2, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; and, also; Tract B, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 3, all in Resolution 1999-757 Page 2 the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 1999.
