RESOLUTION NO. 1999 -765
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED WITH THE
F.Y. 2000 MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DRIVE-PHASE
IV, STP-U-8155 (31) -70-07 AND PHASE V, STP-U-
8155 (34) -70-07, CONTRACT NO. 556 .
WHEREAS, on November 22 , 1999, at 7 : 00 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers a public hearing was held by the City of Waterloo
concerning the F.Y. 2000 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive-Phase IV,
STP-U-8155 (31) -70-07 and Phase V, STP-U-8155 (34) -70-07, Contract
No. 556, and
WHEREAS, no objections were made to the proposed
construction of said project .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that this project may proceed to the letting and awarding of this
contract .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be hereby
instructed to certify a copy of this resolution to the Iowa
Department of Transportation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 1999 .
