RESOLUTION NO. 1999-766
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "M-2, P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
R&N INVESTMENTS FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED IN LOTS 7 & 8 IN THE NORTHEAST
INDUSTRIAL PARK, PLAT NO. 2.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "M-2, P" Planned Industrial District site
plan amendment for R&N Investments, generally located in Lots 7 &
8 in the Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 2 and legally
described as follows:
That part of Lots 7 and 8, Northeast Industrial Park,
Plat No. 1, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence N 00°25' 20" W a distance of 165. 00 feet; thence N
89°34' 40" E a distance of 600. 00 feet; thence
Southeasterly along a curve concave Southwesterly
having a radius of 50 . 00 feet and a long chord bearing
S 45°25' 20" E a distance of 78 . 54 feet to the Easterly
line of said Lot 8; thence S 00°25' 20" E along the
Easterly line of said Lot 8 a distance of 65. 00 feet;
thence Southwesterly along a curve concave
Northwesterly, having a radius of 50 . 00 feet and a long
chord bearing S 44°34' 40" W a distance of 78 . 54 feet;
thence S 89°34' 40" W along the Southerly line of Lots 7
and 8 a distance of 600. 00 feet to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
The Easterly line of said Lot 8 is assumed to bear S
00°25' 20" E.
and, also;
Tract A, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 2, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
and, also;
Tract B, Northeast Industrial Park, Plat No. 3, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 22, 1999, at
7 : 00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "M-2, P" Planned Industrial site
plan amendment for R&N Investments for property generally located
in Lots 7 and 8 in the Northeast Industrial Park, Plat NO. 2, be
and the same is hereby approved.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 1999, and
approved by the Mayor this 24th day of November, 1999.
