RESOLUTION NO. 1999-771
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF WATERLOO,
IOWA TO REQUEST THE ASSISTANCE OF THE STAFF
OF THE IOWA NORTHLAND REGIONAL COUNCIL OF
GOVERNMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has agreed to the
Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement creating the Iowa
Northland Regional Council of Governments (hereinafter called the
Planning Agency) and is a member in good standing, and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage the Planning Agency to
provide certain technical and professional services in connection
with the Preparation of a Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement gives
the Planning Agency the responsibility outlined in Chapter 28E,
Code of Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the Planning Agency be requested to provide
staff assistance in the above mentioned project .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council understands and
will comply will all guidelines as established in the agreement .

RESOLUTION NO. 1999-772
RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WITH THE WATERLOO AIRPORT COMMISSION AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated November 22, 1999 in
conjunction with establishing and reimbursing fair market value of
property released from FAA and Waterloo Airport jurisdiction in
October 1996 and October 1997 and future release of property for
the continued development of MidPort America, by and between the
Waterloo Airport Commission, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be
and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 1999 .
