RESOLUTION NO. 1999-800
RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH IOWA NORTHLAND REGIONAL
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Understanding dated December 13, 1999 for
grant writing services at a cost not to exceed $4, 500 . 00 to
prepare an application to the Iowa Department of Economic
Development for a Community Attraction and Tourism grant in
conjunction with the Cultural Crossroads Project, which includes
the Youth Pavilion Complex, the Waterloo Center for the Arts, the
Grout Museum of Science and Technology, and the African American
Museum, by and between the Iowa Northland Regional Council of
Governments, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1999 .
