RESOLUTION NO. 1999-819
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON ALLOCATION
OF GRANT FROM THE U. S . DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y. 1999 LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AS JANUARY
10, 2000, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the loth day of January, 2000, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon allocation of a grant in
the amount of $123 , 467 . 00 from the U. S . Department of Justice for
the F.Y. 1999 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant Program, with a
required local match of $13 , 719 . 00 .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December, 1999 .
