RESOLUTION NO. 2012-035
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT, TO ABATEMENT SPECIALISTS, LLC IN
THE AMOUNT OF $32, 523. 00 FOR ASBESTOS
ABATEMENT SERVICES OF 212, 302, 306-308, 312
JEFFERSON STREETS, AND 319 WEST 2ND STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the contract of with Abatement Specialists, LLC in the
amount of $32, 523 . 00, in conjunction with asbestos abatement
services at 212, 302, 306-308, 312 Jefferson Streets, and 319
West 2nd Street, described in the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2012-008, after public hearing on January 3, 2012
on published notice required by law, be and is hereby awarded,
the same being the apparent lowest bid for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 2012 .
