RESOLUTION NO. 2012-212
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF EASTER SEALS
CAMP SUNNYSIDE TO HOLD PONY EXPRESS RIDE ON
APRIL 6, 2012 .
WHEREAS, Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside has requested that they
be allowed to hold a Pony Express Ride within Black Hawk County
on April 6, 2012 beginning at approximately 3: 15 p.m. , with
riders leaving the city limits of Evansdale along Lafayette
Street to East 6th Street near the Black Hawk County Courthouse,
right on East 6th Street to Mulberry Street, and left on Mulberry
Street to City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Easter Seals Camp Sunnyside
to hold a Pony Express Ride on April 6, 2012 beginning at
approximately 3: 15 p.m. , with riders leaving the city limits of
Evansdale along Lafayette Street to East 6th Street near the
Black Hawk County Courthouse, right on East 6th Street to
Mulberry Street, and left on Mulberry Street to City Hall,
together with the recommendation of approval by the Director of
Safety Services, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March, 2012 .
