RESOLUTION NO. 2012-213
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF JAMESON' S
PUBLIC HOUSE, 310 EAST 4TH STREET, FOR
VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094 .
WHEREAS, Jameson' s Public House, 310 East 4th Street, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on March 17, 2012
from 9: 00 a.m. to March 18, 2012 at 2 : 00 a.m. in conjunction with
the Saint Patrick' s Day events, with the closure of a portion of
East 4th Street between Lafayette and Mulberry Streets, including
the use of a PA system and band, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Jameson' s Public House has made formal
application for a variance effective March 17, 2012 from 9: 00 a.m.
to March 18, 2012 at 2 : 00 a.m. , together with recommendation of
approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Jameson' s Public House, 310
East 4th Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on March 17, 2012 from 9: 00 a.m. to March 18, 2012 at
2 : 00 a.m. in conjunction with the Saint Patrick' s Day events, with
the closure of a portion of East 4th Street between Lafayette and
Mulberry Streets, including the use of a PA system and band, be
and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March, 2012 .
