RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, TO REZONE FROM "C-P"
PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "R-4, R-P"
PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 820 SYCAMORE STREET, AS MARCH 26,
2012, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 26th day of March, 2012, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of the
City of Waterloo to rezone from "C-P" Planned Commercial District
to "R-4, R-P" Planned Residence District approximately 0 . 34 acres
of land generally located at 820 Sycamore Street, and legally
described as follows :
Lot Nos . One (1) and Four (4) , except the Northwesterly
twenty-three and one-half (231/2) feet thereof, in
Block No. One (1) , in the Original Plat, on the East
Side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, subject to the right-of-way conveyed
to the Chicago Great Western Railway Company, by deed
recorded in book 44 of Town lot Deeds, Page 587 of the
records of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
