RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, TO REZONE FROM "R-4"
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "C-1"
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1019 SOUTH STREET, AS MARCH 26,
2012, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN
CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 26th day of March, 2012, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of the
City of Waterloo to rezone from "R-4" Multiple Residence District
to "C-1" Neighborhood Commercial District approximately 1, 710
square feet of land generally located at 1019 South Street, and
legally described as follows :
Does Addition the Northeasterly 37 . 50 ft. of the
Southeasterly of Lot 8 and the Northeasterly 37 . 520
ft. of the Northwesterly of Lot 9 All in Block 7 of
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
