RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF DOLLY JAMES, L.L.C. FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "R-4, R-P" PLANNED RESIDENCE
DISTRICT, FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
WITHIN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE CEDAR RIVER
AND SYCAMORE STREET, BETWEEN THE UNION
PACIFIC RAILROAD AND E. 8TH STREET, TO ALLOW
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI-FAMILY
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT, AS MARCH 26, 2012, AT
5 : 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
WATERLOO, IOWA, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 12th day of March, 2012, for
the purpose of considering the request of Dolly James, L.L. C. for
a site plan amendment to the "R-4,R-P" Planned Residence District
to allow for the construction of a multi-family housing
development, generally located within the area bounded by the
Cedar River and Sycamore Street, between the Union Pacific
Railroad and E. 8th Street, and legally described as follows :
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
