RESOLUTION NO. 2021-664 RESOLUTION APPROVING SECOND AMENDMENT TO A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF IOWA, REPRESENTED BY THE IOWA ARMORY BOARD, ORIGINALLY EXECUTED AUGUST 26, 2019, WAIVING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING AND FENCING IMPROVEMENTS ON THE PREMISES, WITHIN TWO YEARS AFTER THE DATE OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF 3106 AIRPORT BOULEVARD, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the second amendment to the Lease Agreement with the State of Iowa, represented by the Iowa Armory Board, originally executed August 26, 2019, waiving requirements for the construction of parking and fencing improvements on the premises, within two years after the date of the Lease Agreement, for property located north of 3106 Airport Boulevard, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
