RESOLUTION NO. 2021-644
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
OCTOBER 18, 2021, TO APPROVE A REQUEST BY THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO VACATE 0.18 ACRES OF CITY
OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY AT EAST HIGH SCHOOL AT 214
HIGH STREET, AND RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO. 2618,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of October
2021, to approve the request by the City of Waterloo to vacate approximately 0.18 acres of City
owned right-of-way at East High School, 214 High Street, and rescinding Ordinance No. 2618.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said
hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
