RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AS OCTOBER 18, 2021, FOR A REQUEST BY NORTHLAND
PRODUCTS COMPANY TO REZONE 5.19 ACRES FROM "M-
1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "M-1,C-
Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT, TO ALLOW FOR
COMPACTORS AND DRUM WASHING SYSTEM, IN
RELATION TO A PETROLEUM OPERATION LOCATED AT
2830 GERALDINE ROAD, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th day of October
2021, for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Northland Products
Company to rezone 5.19 acres from "M-1" Light Industrial District to "M-1,C-Z" Conditional
Zoning District, to allow for compactors and drum washing system, in relation to a petroleum
operation located at 2830 Geraldine Road.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said
hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of October 2021.
