RESOLUTION NO. 2012-353
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF KENYATTA
ALEXANDER FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE,
ORDINANCE NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, Kenyatta Alexander is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on May 5, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a wedding reception in the back yard, including
a DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Kenyatta Alexander made formal application for
a variance effective May 5, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in
conjunction with a wedding reception in the back yard, including
a DJ and the use of a PA system, together with recommendation of
approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Kenyatta Alexander for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on May 5, 2012
from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in conjunction with a wedding
reception in the back yard, including a DJ and the use of a PA
system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 2012.
