RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION WITH
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY FOR A 2012 IOWA SOLID
STATE STREET LIGHTING GRANT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,000.00, AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
APPLICATION BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application dated April 23, 2012, for a 2012 Iowa solid
State Street Lighting Grant, in the amount of $5,000.00, with no
required local match, to be used for the replacement of
approximately six to eight HPS street lights with LED fixtures,
by and between MidAmerican Energy and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of April, 2012.
