RESOLUTION NO. 2012-384
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF HAWKEYE
VALLEY AREA AGENCY TO HOLD AN "AGING WALK"
EVENT ON MAY 24, 2012.
WHEREAS, Hawkeye Valley Area Agency has made written
application to the City Council asking that they be authorized
and permitted to hold an "Aging Walk" event on May 24, 2012,
together with the approval of the Director of Safety Services,
and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.,
with the route starting and ending at Young Arena, east along
Commercial Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Hawkeye Valley Area Agency to
hold its "Aging Walk" event on May 24, 2012 beginning at 9:00
a.m., and ending at 11:00 a.m., with the route starting and
ending at Young Arena, east along Commercial Street, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 2012.
