RESOLUTION NO. 2012-388
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF CHRISTOPHER
THORPE FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094,
NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Christopher Thorpe is requesting a variance to the
Noise Ordinance on May 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a small gathering to be held at 1823 Bourland
Avenue, including a live band and the use of a PA system,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Christopher Thorpe has made formal application
for a variance effective May 7, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Christopher Thorpe for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on May 27, 2012
from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m., in conjunction with a small
gathering to be held at 1823 Bourland Avenue, including a live
band and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 2012.
