RESOLUTION NO. 2012-408
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT,
CONTRACT, BONDS AND CERTIFICATES OF
INSURANCE, TO ASPRO, INC., IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE F.Y. 2012 ASPHALT OVERLAY PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 818, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,729,379.10.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Aspro, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in
the amount of 1,729,379.10, in conjunction with the F.Y. 2012
Asphalt Overlay Project, Contract No. 818, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2012-358, after public hearing on
April 23, 2012 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby awarded, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the said improvements, said
contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this
Council.
