RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH R & N
INVESTMENT PROPERTIES, L.L.C., TO SELL AND
CONVEY FOR $1.00, A PORTION OF LOT 11 IN THE
NORTHEAST INDUSTRIAL PARK, PLAT NO. 3, FOR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF A 30,000 SQUARE -FOOT
INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, AS MAY 21, 2012, AT 5:30
P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO,
IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st day of May, 2012, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development
Agreement with R & N Investment Properties, L.L.C., to sell and
convey for $1.00, a portion of lot 11 in the Northeast
Industrial Park, Plat No. 3, for the development of a 30,000
square -foot industrial building, at 2277 Northeast Dive, with an
added taxable value of $200,000, for a new total minimum taxable
value of $895,050.00.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the
Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 2012.
