RESOLUTION NO. 2012-435
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF IOWA IRISH
FEST COMMITTEE TO HOLD IOWA IRISH FEST 5K
RUN/WALK EVENT ON AUGUST 4, 2012.
WHEREAS, the Iowa Irish Fest Committee has requested that
they be allowed to hold an Iowa Irish Fest 5K Run/Walk event on
August 4, 2012, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 6:15 a.m., with the route
to start and end at 4th and Mulberry Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Iowa Irish Fest Committee
to hold an Iowa Irish Fest 5K Run/Walk event on August 4, 2012
beginning at 6:15 a.m., with the route to start and end at 4th
and Mulberry Streets, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 2012.
