RESOLUTION NO. 2012-535
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF APRAL TOMKINS
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Apral Tomkins is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on August 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., in
conjunction with daughter's Sweet 16 event to be held at 535
Wilshire Avenue, including a DJ and the use of a PA system, with
recommendation and approval of the Director of Safety Services,
and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Apral Tomkins has made formal application for
a variance effective August 11, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Apral Tomkins for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on August 11, 2012 from
6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., in conjunction with daughter's Sweet 16
event to be held at 535 Wilshire Avenue, including a DJ and the
use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 2012.
