RESOLUTION NO. 2012-554
RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE REQUEST BY
MONTE MEYER, TO SECTION 5-2-6B OF THE
WATERLOO CODE OF ORDINANCES, DISCHARGING
WEAPONS, TO ALLOW FOR AN ARCHERY
DEMONSTRATION TO BE HELD AT SOUTH HILLS GOLF
COURSE ON JUNE 16, 2012.
WHEREAS, Monte Meyer, on behalf of the "Outdoorsman" has
requested a variance to allow for an archery demonstration to be
held at South Hills Golf Course on June 16, 2012, 1:30 - 5:30,and
WHEREAS, said use of archery equipment would be in violation
of Section 5-2-6B of the Waterloo Code of Ordinances, Discharging
Weapons, and
WHEREAS, Monte Meyer has made formal application for a
variance to Section 5-2-6B of the Waterloo Code of Ordinances,
Discharging Weapons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Monte Meyer, on behalf of the
"Outdoorsman", for a variance to Section 5-2-6B of the Waterloo
Code of Ordinances, Discharging Weapons, to allow for an archery
demonstration to be held at South Hills Golf Course on June 16,
2012 from 1:30 - 5:30, be and the same is hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of June 2012.
