RESOLUTION NO. 2012-566
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINANCIAL
INVESTIGATION TASK FORCE AGREEMENT FOR THE
NORTHERN DISTRICT OF IOWA AND DIRECTING
EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Financial Investigation Task Force Agreement for the
Northern District of Iowa, dated June 11, 2012, to establish the
procedures, responsibilities, and obligations of the Task Force
members, and a formula for the equitable sharing of assets seized
and forfeited as a result of the combined efforts of the Task
Force members, by and between the Northern District of Iowa, IRS
Criminal Investigation, FBI, Homeland Security Investigation
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, DEA, ATF, Linn County and
Black Hawk County Sheriff Departments, Cedar Rapids, Marion and
Dubuque Police Departments and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and
the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute
the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of June 2012.
