RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST BY KUGLER
CONSTRUCTION FOR AN APPEAL TO SECTION 273, OF THE
2003 TRAFFIC CODE, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 4602,
REQUIREMENT PROHIBITING VEHICLES FROM PARKING ON
CITY -OWNED RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED BETWEEN THE
STREET AND PROPERTY LINE, FOR AN AREA LOCATED AT
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF JEFFERSON STREET AND WEST
12TH STREET
WHEREAS, Kugler Construction has made written application to
the Waterloo Planning, Programming, and Zoning Commission,
appealing Section 273, of the 2003 Traffic Code, adopted by
Ordinance No. 4602, requirement prohibiting vehicles from parking
on City owned right-of-way, located between the street and
property line of the northwest corner of Jefferson Street and
West 12th Street, legally described as follows:
LOT 10, BLOCK 58, ANTHONY BAKERS ADDITION, WATERLOO, BLACK
HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
and,
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, that the request of Kugler Construction appealing
City Code requirement prohibiting vehicles from parking between
the street and property line of the northwest corner of Jefferson
Street and 12th Street, be approved.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Kugler Construction appealing
City Code requirement prohibiting vehicles from parking between
the street and property line of the northwest corner of Jefferson
Street and West 12th Street, be and the same hereby approved and
the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute the same on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of June 2012.
