RESOLUTION NO. 2012-569
RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, BUREAU OF JUSTICE
ASSISTANCE AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the 2013 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant
(JAG) Program Agreement dated June 11, 2012, in the amount of
$261,979.00, with a required city match of $87,327.00, to be used
for funding the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force, by and
between the Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same on behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June 2012.
