RESOLUTION NO. 2012-574
RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WITH AVITA DEVELOPMENTS, L.L.C. OF HUDSON,
IOWA AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID
AGREEMENT BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Development Agreement dated June 11, 2012, for
construction of a new 6,000 square foot medical office building,
located east of the Mauer Eye Center at the southwest corner of
Ridgeway Avenue and Greyhound Drive, adding a new minimum value
of $750,000.00 of taxable value to the site, and offering tax
rebates for 8 years at 50 percent, by and between Avita
Developments, LLC and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same
is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June 2012.
