RESOLUTION NO. 2012-588
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CEDAR VALLEY
PRIDE FEST COMMITTEE TO HOLD THE 1ST ANNUAL
CEDAR VALLEY PRIDE FEST EVENT AUGUST 18-19,
2012.
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Pride Fest Committee has requested
that they be allowed to hold the 1st Annual Cedar Valley Pride
Fest event August 18-19, 2012, together with the approval of the
Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will be held from 12:00 noon to
midnight, with street closure of the 300 block of West 4th Street
from northbound Washington Street to Jefferson Street from
August 18, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. to August 19, 2012 at 4:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Pride Fest
Committee to hold the 1st Annual Cedar Valley Pride Fest event on
August 18, 2012 from 12:00 noon to midnight, with street closure
of the 300 block of West 4th Street from northbound Washington
Street to Jefferson Street from August 18, 2012 at 6:00 a.m. to
August 19, 2012 at 4:00 a.m., be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 2012.
