RESOLUTION NO. 2012-591
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF BJ'S BAR AND
BILLIARDS, 110 IDA STREET, FOR VARIANCE TO
NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094.
WHEREAS, BJ's Bar and Billiards, 110 Ida Street, is
requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on July 4, 2012,
July 7, 2012, September 3, 2012 and October 31, 2012, from 6:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in conjunction with Full Throttle Thursdays,
Independence and Labor Day Events, including a live band and use
of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said BJ's Bar and Billiards, 110 Ida Street, has
made formal application for a variance for the above stated dates
from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of BJ's Bar and Billiards, 110
Ida Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on July 4, 2012, July 7, 2012, September 3, 2012 and
October 31, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in conjunction
with Full Throttle Thursdays, Independence and Labor Day Events,
including a live band and use of a PA system, be and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June 2012.
