RESOLUTION NO. 2012-597
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
PRAIRIE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC., OF
WATERLOO IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $97,800.00,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY CLERK OFFICE
REMODEL PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Prairie Construction Services, Inc.,
of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $97,800.00, in conjunction
with the City Clerk Office Remodel Project, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project in Resolution No. 2012-563, after public hearing on
June 11, 2012 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June 2012.
