RESOLUTION NO. 2012-610
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF HOMELAND SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT AGENCY, AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID APPLICATIONS BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated June 18, 2012, for an Assistance to
Firefighters Grant in the amount of $80,000.00, with 20 percent
required local match, to be used to assist in paramedic training
costs , by and between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security,
Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June 2012.
