RESOLUTION NO. 2012-661
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION AND SITE
CLEARANCE SERVICES (NO REGULATED ASBESTOS -
CONTAINING MATERIALS) FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT
330 MADISON STREET (FORMER FRANCIS GROUT
SCHOOL) .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning & Development
Director of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc., in conjunction with Demolition and Site
Clearance Services (no regulated asbestos -containing materials)
for property located at 330 Madison Street (Former Francis Grout
School), in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning & Development Director did
file said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract,
etc. in conjunction with Demolition and Site Clearance Services
(no regulated asbestos -containing materials) for property located
at 330 Madison Street (Former Francis Grout School), which were
preliminarily approved by Resolution No. 2012-627 on June 18,
2012, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 25,
2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. in conjunction with Demolition and Site Clearance
Services (no regulated asbestos -containing materials) for
property located at 330 Madison Street (Former Francis Grout
School), in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are
hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 2012.
