RESOLUTION NO. 2012-737
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO SHAWVER WELL COMPANY, INC. OF
FREDERICKSBURG, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF
$66,384.60 FOR THE 2012 RIVERFRONT SPORTS
PARK WATER WELL PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract with Shawver Well Company, Inc. of
Fredericksburg, Iowa, in the amount of $66,384.60, for the 2012
Riverfront Sports Park Water Well Project, described in the plans
and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project in Resolution No. 2012-690, after public hearing on July
9, 2012 on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute the
Contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of July 2012.
