NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on the 18th
day of October. 2021, at 5:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, a public hearing
will be held by the Council of the City o1
Waterloo, Iowa, to approve a request by
the City of Waterloo to vacate 0.27 acres
of City owned right-of-way at East High
School at 214 High Street. retaining a
utility easement over the entirety, and
rescinding Ordinance No. 4459, legally
described as follows:
THAT PORTION OF SOUTH BARCLAY
STREET LYING NORTH OF VINE
STREET AND SOUTH OF THE ILLINOIS
CENTRAL RAILROAD (NOW CANADIAN
NATIONAL RAILROAD) PROPERTY,
SUBJECT TO THE RETENTION OF AN
EASEMENT FOR UTILITIES OVER ALL.
Anyone who is interested may appear at
said time and place and be heard or may
file written objection with the City Clerk,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before the date
set for said hearing.
