RESOLUTION NO. 2021-670
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PIRC-TOBIN
CONSTRUCTION, INC., OF ALBURNETT, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,899,080.93, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2020 LEVERSEE ROAD SANITARY SEWER AND WATER
MAIN IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 987, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., of Alburnett, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Leversee Road Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Improvements,
Contract No. 987, and
WHEREAS, Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
June 25, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-494.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Pirc-Tobin Construction, Inc., at a total cost of $1,899,080.93, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Leversee Road Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Improvements,
Contract No. 987, are hereby approved.
