RESOLUTION NO. 2021-674
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO LANGMAN
CONSTRUCTION, INC., OF ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $7,190,038.90, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE HWY. 63 SEWER UPGRADES PHASE I PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1037, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the bid of Langman Construction, Inc., of Rock Island, Illinois, in the amount of $7,190,038.90,
in conjunction with Hwy. 63 Sewer Upgrades Phase I Project, Contract No. 1037, described in
the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said purchase with Resolution No. 2021-
658, after public hearing on October 4, 2021, on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October 2021.
