RESOLUTION NO. 2021-687
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS OCTOBER 21, 2021, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 1, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH DEMOLITION
SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. D-2021-11-3P, LOCATED
AT 1027 SYCAMORE STREET, 325 W. 13TH STREET, AND
742 GRANT AVENUE, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with Demolition Services, Contract No. D-2021-11-3P, for properties located at 1027 Sycamore
Street, 325 W. 13th Street, and 742 Grant Avenue, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No.
D-2021-11-3P, for properties located at 1027 Sycamore Street, 325 W. 13th Street, and 742
Grant Avenue, be scheduled for October 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 1s` day of November 2021, to
hold a public hearing, in conjunction with Demolition Services, Contract No. D-2021-11-3P, for
properties located at 1027 Sycamore Street, 325 W. 13th Street, and 742 Grant Avenue.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of
said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October 2021.
