Subject: EDA Award No. 05-01-03718 - Cedar Valley Riverfront Reconstruction
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In response to the Mayor's request of September 6, 2005, the Economic Development
Administration (EDA) offers the City this amendment to the subject award of May 31, 2002.
The amendment changes the completion of the project from December 31, 2005, to December
31, 2006, and allows the purchase of the 7th (Railroad)property and the reuse in whole or a part,
instead of demolition, of some of the buildings (at 820 Sycamore Street in whole, 910 Sycamore
Street and 113 E. 8th Street in part).
All terms and conditions of the award, other than those specifically modified by this amendment,
remain unchanged.
If this amendment is acceptable to the City of Waterloo, IA, please sign both copies and return
one copy to this office, for attention of Akhtar A. Alvi, P.E., no later than October 28, 2005.
