RELEASE OF REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE
The City of Waterloo, the present owner of the mortgage for the benefit of the
Waterloo Water Works hereinafter described, for valuable consideration, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby confirm that the following described real estate
situated in Black Hawk County, Iowa, to-wit:
The West Ninety (90.0) Feet of the East Sixteen Rods of the South
Eleven (11) Rods of the Southeast Quarter (SE'/<) of the Southeast
Quarter (SEI/4) of Section Sixteen (16), Township Eighty-seven (87)
North, Range Thirteen (13), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Black
Hawk County, Iowa..
is hereby released from the lien of the real estate mortgage, executed by Mildred F. Siebel
on September 25, 1996, recorded in the records of the Office of the Recorder of the County
of Black Hawk, State of Iowa, in Book 511 of Land Mtg. at Pages 605 and 606.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as
in the singular or plural, and as masculine, feminine or neuter gender, according to the
context.

known, and, who, being by me duly sworn, did say that they are the Mayor and City Clerk,
respectively, of the City of Waterloo, Iowa; that the seal affixed to the foregoing instrument is
the corporate seal of the corporation, and that the instrument was signed and sealed on
behalf of the corporation, by authority of its City Council, as contained in Resolution adopted
by the City Council, under Roll Call No. 1.a(-d 3 of the City Council on the day of

execution of the instrument to be their voluntary act and deed and the voluntary act and
deed of the corporation, by it voluntarily executed.
