RESOLUTION NO. 2021-716
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR AN
IOWA'S CLEAN AIR ATTAINMENT PROGRAM (ICAAP)
FEDERAL -AID SWAP PROJECT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE US 63/LOGAN AVENUE ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC SYSTEM
FROM CONGER STREET TO DONALD STREET, PROJECT
NO. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)—SH-07, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has requested permission to submit an
application for an Iowa Clean Air Attainment grant in an amount not to exceed $112,392, in
conjunction with the US 63/Logan Avenue Adaptive Traffic System from Conger Street to
Donald Street, Project No. ICAAP-SWAP-8155(781)—SH-07, and
WHEREAS, The City of Waterloo is committed to adequately maintaining the completed
project for its intended public use following project completion, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the submission of the application for an Iowa Clean Air Attainment
grant in an amount not to exceed $112,392, , in conjunction with the US 63/Logan Avenue
Adaptive Traffic System from Conger Street to Donald Street, Project No. ICAAP-SWAP-
8155(781)—SH-07, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November 2021.
