RESOLUTION NO. 2021-703
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 4, 2021 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 15, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2021-2022
RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS SNOW REMOVAL
CONTRACT FOR CITY OWNED LOTS GENERALLY
ACQUIRED THROUGH IOWA CODE 657A, AND INSTRUCT
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the snow removal contract for residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned
lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the snow removal contract for
residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A,
be scheduled for November 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of November 2021,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the snow removal contract for
residential/miscellaneous areas for city owned lots generally acquired through Iowa Code 657A.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November 2021.
