RESOLUTION NO. 2021-704
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS NOVEMBER 4, 2021 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS NOVEMBER 15, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES
CONTRACT AB-2021-11-01P, FOR A PORTION OF THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 100 E. 9TH STREET, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-2021-11-01P, for a portion of
the property located at 100 E. 9th Street, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services,
Contract No. AB-2021-11-01P, for a portion of the property located at 100 E. 9th Street, be
scheduled for November 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of November 2021,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with Asbestos Abatement Services, Contract No. AB-
2021-11-01P, for a portion of the property located at 100 E. 9th Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of November 2021.
