RESOLUTION NO. 2021-739
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT NO. AB-
2021-11-01P, FOR A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 100 E 9TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction the Asbestos Abatement Services Contract
No. AB-2021-11-01P, for a portion of the property located at 100 E 9th Street, and
WHEREAS, said City Public Works Division Manager did file said plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-
2021-11-01P, for a portion of the property located at 100 E 9th Street, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on November 15, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-2021-11-01P, for a portion of the property
located at 100 E 9th Street, are hereby approved, and said project proceed in accordance with
said specifications.
