RESOLUTION NO. 2021-788
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK,
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY LODGE CONSTRUCTION OF
CLARKSVILLE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,477,213.49,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020 COURTLAND,
JEFFERSON, AND MULBERRY STREETS
RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 1015, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction of Clarksville, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the FY 2020 Courtland, Jefferson, and Mulberry Streets Reconstruction Program, Contract
No. 1015, and
WHEREAS, Lodge Construction, has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
April 6, 2020, Resolution No. 2020-220.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Lodge Construction, at a total cost of $2,477,213.49, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Courtland, Jefferson, and Mulberry Streets Reconstruction
Program, Contract No. 1015, are hereby approved, and a two-year maintenance bond hereby
received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December 2021.
