RESOLUTION NO. 2021-789
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY TRICON CONSTRUCTION
GROUP, OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$3,725,240.41, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2020
VIRDEN CREEK LEVEE IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO.
947, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR
MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Tricon Construction Group, of Dubuque, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Virden Creek Levee Improvements, Contract No. 947, and
WHEREAS, Tricon Construction Group, has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
December 16, 2019, Resolution No. 2019-952.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Tricon Construction Group, at a total cost of $3,725,240.41, in
conjunction with the FY 2020 Virden Creek Levee Improvements, Contract No. 947, are hereby
approved, and a two-year maintenance bond hereby received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of December 2021.
