AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE,
BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED
TO IN SECTION 10-4-4, APPROVING A REQUEST BY
TERRY GIBBS D/B/A B&G BUILDERS, TO REZONE 0.749
ACRES FROM "R-2" ONE AND TWO-FAMILY RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT,
LOCATED ADJACENT TO 517 RHEY STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the request by Terry Gibbs d/b/a B&G Builders, to rezone 0.749 acres
from "R-2" One and Two -Family Residence District to "M-1" Light Industrial District, located
adjacent to 517 Rhey Street, and legally described as follows:
LOT 6, LOT 7, LOT 8, LOT 9, AND THE 20 FOOT WIDE ALLEY AS
PLATTED IN BLOCK 2 OF ZOLLINGERS ADDITION, WATERLOO, BLACK
HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
shall be and is hereby approved.

PASSED 1st CONSIDERATION: December 20, 2021
PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: December 20, 2021
PASSED 3rd CONSIDERATION: December 20, 2021
