RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXPERIENCE WATERLOO
BOARD RECOMMENDATION FOR FUNDING IN THE
PARTNER AND EVENT HOTEL/MOTEL TAX GRANT
FUNDS FOR THIRD AND FOURTH QUARTERS OF FY 2022,
IN THE AMOUNT OF $38,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Experience Waterloo Board of Directors recommendations for funding five (5) event
applications for a total amount of $38,000.00, for the 3rd and 4th quarters of Fiscal Year 2022, are
hereby approved as follows:
Pool & Dart Tournaments I Waterloo Convention Center I Feb & March - $20,000.00
FIRST Robotics I McLeod Center, UNI I March 22-26, 2022 - $5,000.00
VGM Heartland Conference I Waterloo Convention Center I June, 2022 - $10,000.00
Letter Carriers Union I Waterloo Convention Center I April, 2022 - $3,000.00
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2022.
