RESOLUTION NO. 2022-012
RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH
BLACK HAWK GAMING, IN THE AMOUNT OF $400,000.00,
FOR THE CEDAR RIVER LIGHTING PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the Grant Agreement dated January 3, 2022, in the amount of $400,000.00, with a City match of
$426,772.00, to be used for the Cedar River Lighting Project, by and between the Black Hawk
County Gaming Association and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor and City clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January 2022.
