RESOLUTION NO. 2022-016
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH U.S.
BANK NATIONAL ASSOCIATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,268.47, IN CONJUNCTION WITH RECONSTRUCTION OF
THE PARK AVENUE BRIDGE LOCATED AT THE
NORTHWEST CORNER THE PARK AVENUE BRIDGE AND
THE CEDAR RIVER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Temporary Construction Easement Agreement dated January 3, 2022, between U.S.
Bank National Association and the City of Waterloo, in the amount of $1,268.47, of the
hereinafter described parcel, in conjunction with reconstruction of the Park Avenue Bridge
located at the northwest corner the Park Avenue Bridge and the Cedar River;
TRACT "A"
A PART OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 1 AND PART OF VACATED CEDAR
STREET, ALL IN THE ORIGINAL PLAT ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE
CEDAR RIVER IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE PRESENTLY ESTABLISHED
NORTHWESTERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF PARK AVENUE AND THE
NORTHEASTERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF VACATED CEDAR STREET; THENCE
SOUTH 41°04'05" WEST 15.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE
